On 26 September 2026, the IIUM GSM LEADS Scholarship was officially officiated by the President of IIUM, Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain, marking an important step in IIUM Graduate School of Management’s commitment to supporting deserving students and nurturing future leaders.
For Semester 1, 2026/2027 four students have been selected as scholarship recipients:
- Muhammad Zharif bin Mazli (MBA)
- Mohd Zulkarami bin Rameli @ Ramli (MBA)
- Muhammad Uwais Parakkadavil (MBA)
- Madiha Muzaffar (MMGT)
As part of the initiative, the IIUM GSM LEADS Scholarship Crowdfunding Initiative was introduced through the IIUM GSM INSPIRE Programme, inviting alumni to support deserving students through voluntary contributions.
The initiative aims to raise RM20,000, complementing IIUM GSM’s existing RM150,000 scholarship allocation, bringing the total scholarship fund to RM170,000. All funds raised will be channelled exclusively to the IIUM GSM LEADS Scholarship to provide financial assistance to eligible students.
